Supporting statement
The Company agreed to and signed off on the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and conducts a qualitative analysis on business risks and opportunities arising from medium- to long-term climate changes mainly based on the scenario where temperatures rise 2°C by 2050. However, the Company needs to proactively disclose concrete and quantitative climate change-related financial information for the scenario where it aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and keep temperatures at a 1.5°C rise, in order to receive investments and loans in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. The Company should have a new set of values and a medium- to longterm perspective focusing on decarbonization to improve corporate value and sustain growth.
