Collaboration details

This past March, the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures released its first beta version of its risk and opportunity management and disclosure framework. The development of the disclosure framework will be an iterative process leading to the final versions’ release in September 2023. TNFD’s recommended disclosures closely align to those of TCFD to facilitate and encourage a move towards integrated disclosures. Please visit this FAQ document if you would like to know more about TNFD.

Ceres and a small group of investors have written feedback on the draft framework that focuses on TNFD’s definition of nature-related risks and its use of materiality. We’ve focused on this key structural component of the framework at this early stage as it is a vital component in ensuring the TNFD framework leads to the appropriate analysis of nature-related risks.

If your organization would like to endorse this feedback and reinforce this crucial signal to TNFD, please fill out this sign-on form by June 21st, 2022.
