15 members

This draft statement is intended to express the support of the investor community for new UK primary legislation to mandate companies to carry out human rights and environmental due diligence across their own operations and value chains. It is being coordinated by the Corporate Justice Coalition and the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre

Collaboration details

The Corporate Justice Coalition and the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre are hoping for as wide as possible a number of signatories from investors which are either based in the UK or have UK holdings. The final statement will be published on the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre’s website and used for communications and advocacy. Signatories are encouraged to use the final statement in their own communications or advocacy. No major edits will be considered at this stage owing to the complexity of going back to signatories for further sign-off.
