Investor engagement with companies having staggered boards or multi-annual mandates to move to annual director elections. The aim is to strengthen boards accountability. We also engage with corporate governance regulators to foster the needed governance reforms. Ability to vote on each director on annual basis is a fundamental shareholder right.
