On May 7, The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) published a consultation on revising the Standards Concerning the Contents and Formats of Information Disclosure by Companies Offering Securities to the Public No.2 — Contents and Formats of Annual Reports, and No.3 — Contents and Formats of Semi-Annual Report. All listed companies in China should prepare and disclose their annual/ semi-annual reports in accordance with the requirements of these two files.The deadline to respond is June 7, 2021. 

中国证监会就《公开发行证券的公司信息披露内容与格式准则第2号—年度报告的内容与格式（征求意见稿）》《公开发行证券的公司信息披露内容与格式准则第3号—半年度报告的内容与格式（征求意见稿）》公开征求意见。在中华人民共和国境内公开发行股票并在证券交易所上市的股份有限公司应当按照本准则的要求编制和披露年度报告。意见反馈截止时间为2021年6月7日。

In this update, CSRC updated the chapter on Corporate Governance, and added a chapter on Environment and Social Responsibility, which set a foundation of a mandatory ESG disclosure framework for listed companies in China.

本次修订完善了公司治理章节, 并新增环境和社会责任章节, 为制定中国上市公司强制ESG信息披露框架奠定了基础。
