Children’s Rights in Responsible Investments
This is a space for sharing information, good practices and initiating action on Children’s Rights, guided by UNICEF.
Investors are invited to attend the launch webinar of UNICEF's new “Tool for Investors on integrating children’s rights in ESG assessments” on Wednesday 14th April. Participants can register via this link.
Children account for nearly one‐third of the world’s population, and investors’ human rights policies need reflect the special considerations businesses need to make to respect children’s rights. Although children’s rights are part of, and often key to addressing, other sustainability topics such as human rights, decent work, gender and diversity, the children’s rights dimensions are often missed without taking a specific child rights lens to sustainability.
